Hello everyone! Today, I would like to share my thoughts on the first unit of our high school English textbook. As a freshman in senior high school, I find this unit both interesting and meaningful. It focuses on introducing ourselves to others, which is an essential skill for communication.

In this unit, we learned how to describe our personal information, such as name, age, hobbies, and interests. For example, I wrote about myself: "My name is Li Hua, and I am 16 years old. I enjoy playing basketball and listening to music. My dream is to become an engineer in the future." Through these simple sentences, I can express who I am and what I like.

Moreover, we practiced conversations with classmates. This activity not only improved our speaking skills but also helped us get to know each other better. It was exciting to hear different stories from my peers and discover common interests.

I believe that mastering basic self-introduction skills will be beneficial in various situations, whether it's during school activities or when meeting new people. This unit has laid a solid foundation for our English learning journey ahead.
