【初二学生暑假英语日记:I（Love及Summer及作文500字）】This summer, I had a lot of fun. I think summer is the best season because it's warm and I can go outside every day. In the morning, I usually get up early and do my homework. After that, I like to play with my friends or ride my bike in the neighborhood.

One of my favorite things about summer is going to the beach. My family went there last week. We swam in the sea, built sandcastles, and played volleyball. It was so exciting! The sun was bright, and the air was fresh. I felt very happy when I was running on the beach with my little brother.

Another thing I enjoy is reading books. During the summer, I read several interesting stories. I especially liked "The Little Prince" because it made me think about life and friendship. I also watched some English movies to improve my language skills. Although it was hard at first, I started to understand more words and phrases.

In the evening, I often sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. The sky turns into different colors, and the wind feels cool. Sometimes I talk with my parents about our plans for the future. They always give me good advice, and I feel lucky to have them.

Summer is a time for relaxation and fun, but it's also a time to learn and grow. I hope I can make the most of this vacation and come back to school with new ideas and energy.
